Got unsolicited email asking if I wanted a very cheap holiday at this hotel, accepted with some trepidation, agreed numerous upgrades which bumped the price up, but it was great value for money, obviously the timeshare/holiday club interrogation wasnt great, but well worth it to enjoy this splendid hotel, staff were brilliant!
The maitre D the main flavours restaurant or guest services manager to give him is proper title was one of the best Ive ever seen at his job, totally charismatic, charming and made everyone feel so special!
Double his wage! The guy is brilliant, his knowledge of the Island and its history was masterfull!

Room Tip: go to valleta if you like History, the Cathedral is epic

My wife and I have just returned from this hotel for a 12 night stay, we had a serene sea view room that was at first ok. I will keep this brief and stick to the pointers, -

Food - We ate twice and flavours and it was awful one on BBQ night and ended up having kids Chicken Nuggets and chips and even this was awful. The starters were non existent the main course was rancid meat un cooked raw and could not cut through it. 29 EUROS each disgusting food do not eat here.
Breakfast - was ok apart from the uncooked slimy bacon, uncooked slimy sausages and the boiled supposed to be fried eggs !
We ate away from the hotel on all other days/nights thank god we did not go half board.

Room Service - We do not drink alcohol often so one evening we decided to order some wine to our room for a change so we called down and ordered two bottles of house red wine 28 euros a bottle ! The room service arrived with one bottle and said they will bring the other one later on the reason they dome this was so they could charge two room service fees be aware of this !

Car parking - We hired a lovely little car from Josephs car hire and they were great as usual, each day we had t wait in a queue to get a carparking ticket (3 euros) of which most probably took half an hour each day as the reception was always so busy. Be aware even if you get a ticket you are not guaranteed a space in the hotel car parking grounds.

Room - Each day we took photos of the build up of dust to the bathroom cupboards, side boards tv etc and each day this was never cleaned so thick with dust in fact we kept complaining but no action was taken, each day we asked the cleaner for shampoo and conditioner for my wife and each day none was left so off again to queue in reception as they could even answer the phone from our room to reception. The air conditioning worked sometimes and when it did spewed dust fragments all over the room of which we feel made us unwell. The bed spread white stains all over it never changed when asked about it.

Beach - The public beach is kept immaculate each morning this is cleaned and swept with a little digger, the hotel beach is so crammed and is never cleaned as they do not even re-organise the sun loungers after everyone has abused them at the end of each day.

All in all a very disappointing stay in a supposedly 5 star hotel, we full accept to pay a premium for anything in a 5 star hotel but they need to offer the service and quality if they expect people to pay this. We are well seasoned travellers and were very disappointed with this hotel. We di=o have photos but we are in talks with the holiday company and would prefer to add these later.

On a positive note the view from our room was beautiful and we did love Malta and will return next year but not here.

Happy Hunting

Room Tip: Do not book above the main music venue as this will keep you up until midnight if you are requiring a quiter holiday.

The hotel is spotless and room really comfy. The drinks a shockingly expensive - London prices! It's a shame that we hadn't young Apples Eye until the last day - a great little restaurant with drink a third of the hotel prices!
Loved the service buzzers - a great idea.
The worst thing about this hotel was never being more that 2 foot away from Time share reps, desperately fawning over couples pretending to be interested but all the time on a hard sell... I wonder what people would think if they heard some of the exchanges we heard in the corridors to and from our room.... why you would buy off these predators is a mystery to me and it's a shame that the Raddisson is party to it - it's on this basis that I wouldn't stay again; not that we were bothered by them, although we did get a pack from our taxi driver telling us to meet a rep the next day - we didn't bother as I suspect it would have been one of the smarm (Azure) brigade... no thanks!!!
It's very isolated here, but looks to be a good bus service.
Breakfast was a lovely experience as was the 2 meals we had in the Italian restaurant.
We paid top dollar for this 3 day break (before moving on to Valletta) - looks like there were quite a few who paid miles less but had to waste hours sat in the company of the time share touts.... beware of cheap holidays, there's usually a catch!

Just had our second buffet dinner at Flavours first was OK but this second one the barbecue was a real waste of money unless you wanted a beef burger for €29 (bit expensive).. starters were poor. The meat ! Chicken was burned! Steak I could not even cut through. As to deserts not much left I discovered they did bring more later but I didn't expect to be stood around waiting for €€€29. Real shame seamed a nice resort. Won't be eating there again!

Room Tip: Try for an ocean view much nicer if you travel on an RCI Exchange you probably won't get one.

Paid to stay at the Radisson for £99 for a week’s stay via a Home show in London. We were told that we would have to attend a seminar when we asked what the catch was for such a low cost. We had a 4hr mind dumbing sell and only after 3.5 hrs. were we even told what it was they were selling. All the time before that was to groom us into a false sense of security and also to find out more about us and the type of holidays we take. So, in a nutshell they are selling a scheme whereby you pay up front and you get cheap holiday accommodation in various hotels around the world. Initially we were being charged £25,000 for 6,000 points (funnily the woman was blatantly trying to hide when reading the cost from her folder by peeking at it and closing it as she worked out what price to pitch to us at), which is what you use to buy your holiday accommodation. The more expensive the room the more points it costs. This was then dropped to £20,000 and when we said we were not interested they offered £4,000 for a lower number of points as a taster for us. Again, we said we were not interested, and they got the picture. The fact that they had no fixed prices to show tells the story. They refused to give us any information to take away with us claiming that there were too many variations on what they offered. The long and short of it is that it’s a hard sell and a con if they can’t give you anything on paper as to what it is they are selling and what it is you are buying. I thought that this kind of thing was illegal and to top it off it is happening at a Radisson hotel with their knowledge and consent to con their own customers, so I won’t be staying in one of these again. This is a shame as the people and the food we did have there was actually quite good. But any hotel that exposes their customers to a con are not worthy of my business.

Dear Amarjit S,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent visit.

As you had agreed in writing prior to subscribing to the £99 offer, this is always subject to a morning or afternoon presentation on our club system. Azure make it very clear at the outset that this amazing deal of £99 is subject to the marketing campaign requirements .

We understand that not everyone loves to be sold to although we pride ourselves on a stress free, no pressure environment.
Our products are not cheap holiday offers but a closed group private members vacation experience club where we offer “XP” currency based on the latest block chain technology
Allowing its members to utilize a wide range of leisure assets from supercars, to 5 star hotels , lodges, and luxury motorhomes throughout the world .

This is a very unique and genuine offer , and are sorry your experience with us wasn’t enjoyable on this occasion.

Regards,
Sasha
