Carolin was very helpful with ideas about travel arrangements and putting us in touch with Joe who let us in. The kitchen is reasonably equipped but poorly lit. The house is old and therefore characterful but this lends itself to dust and dampness - our clothes accumulated damp. The sheets were a polyester mix and too small for the mattress and kept riding up so you would find yourself sleeping on the mattress. We were cold at times and the quilts were very thick and very dusty, exacerbating my asthma.
We were pleasantly surprised to find another kitchen upstairs and a lovely roof terrace. The swimming pool has no circulating water, more like a sterilised pond but pleasant enough.
San Lawenz is in a great location with good walks to the inland sea and the local shrine.
