A group of five of us visited this restaurant on a quiet weekday.
As some of us has dined there before, we knew its location.
It is beside the sea and it was nice & breezy during lunch.
The menu is also in English and has photos, so ordering is easy even
for non-Mandarin speaking diners.
We ordered the following dishes : One of their specialities, fried beancurd with
with rainbow egg, sambal kangkong, sweet & sour pork ribs, steamed fish, steamed
rice and chinese tea.
The cooking standard is competent and prices reasonable.
The total bill came up to MYR 129.
The most costly item was the 1.1 kg fish which cost MYR 77.
in the previous visit, we were disappointed with miserly portions "her peow" (fish
bladder) , which was also ecpensive. So when it recommended again by the
wait staff, we declined.
Service as polite, friendly and prompt but then there were only two other diners
at a neighbouring table.
