We stayed in one of their standard suites locaed in the main building over two floors. To stop anyone walking by the window to see us inside we needed to close the shutters which wasn't as issue as there was only one room beyond ours. Room is rustic, bed against the wall and the bathroom is tiny, tiny vanity, up a step to the toilet and then step into the shower
The gardens are just beautiful and well maintained. We didn't spend much time in our room as were exploring Ilha Grande but when we were back at the hotel we spent most of our time a the pool area. There are two pools are a huge deck and the walk through the gardens to get there is really nice.
It's in a good location, five minutes walk to the bridge that takes you to the main town, so it's far enough away to be nice a quiet.
Breakfast was of a good quality in the main eating area.
