Stayed here 3 nights and very pleased with everything . Staff very helpful, location close to peer , restaurants , beach. Room , basic , clean provided all that we needed in a very individual setting. Really enjoyed visiting the island , very scenic & relaxing.
Very nice relatively small B&B right at the beach boulevard in Abraao. Very helpful staff and nice tropical garden.
The square crepes served in the restaurant in the evenings were also very tasteful!!
Great accommodations and very reasonable. A/C, Comfy queen size bed, wonderful friendly employees, super healthy breakfast included every morning! The place is "rustic" like the rest of the Island - don't expect The Plaza or The Four Seasons! They have great contacts for day trips by boat around the Island - had fun snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon one day and visited 5 beaches in 7 hours the next day! Night time sitting outside at tables on the beach in front of the Pousada. Cocktails and the best crepe bar serving sweet and savory crepes - just delicious! Great place for a Honeymoon!!!
Due to sickness we had to rebook our stay at Tropicana, in good time within the rules of repayment. No money was of course ever resent to my VISA. I have SEVERAL mail correspondances with them, we're they assure me the money is on its way... Blaming card-company, blamin wrong account, blaming whatever.. After 6 monthts I realized that they had been playing me all the way, never even tried to resend the money. And this was for almost a weeks stay, so it really hurt our already tight budget. We will never afford Brazil again due to them.
if they had only said from the beginning that we weren't getting our money back, I would have been mad, but now I'm furious, wasting my time and ruining my trust in people.

We spent 3 nights at the pousada,(bed & breakfast), 3 people (Mother + 2 young adults). The room is very small, simple and basic, It is not bad to be honest, but than, nothing hilarious to mention and nothing you really remember as an awsome experience. You get the services that need.and nothing more.
No view from the window, although the pousada is located on the coastline itself, and for me it was kind of disappointing. It is cost-effective for sure, but for me it was too simple, maybe my age, maybe my expectations, but this is how I felt.
The team though, was very nice, and specifically the young receptionist of Argentinian origin, whose name I don't recall, unfortunately, She was very helpful. She provided us with good and useful touristic information. She knew the trails to details and that was good, and she recommended restaurants that were really good.We had a problem in the bathroom and they took care about it rapidly.
Will I come again? To ilha Grande I will, To Tropicana? well, probably not.
