excellent place

The resort was very very nice . The staff always very helpful . The only thing they need is another restaurant or two . The rooms were very nice but a bit small although very efficient and well thought out . I would go back to Flamingo Beach Resort again . It was recently taken over by Hilton so we shall see what changes are implemented . Hopefully even a better place to vacation.

Great Resort, Excellent Service

Excellent resort with good facilities and conveniently located close to the main road to Phillipsburg and the rest of St. Maarten/St. Martin.
What really stood out for me was the friendly and efficient service provided by all of the staff I encountered during our stay. A special mention goes out to Marie & Bryan who tried their level best to resolve a tricky situation.

Great visit at Flamingo Resort

We have visited the resort annually for over 20 years and always have a good time. The accommodations are always clean, and the refurbishing since hurricane Irma is outstanding. The most significant attribute though is the staff All the employees we met were friendly and knowledgeable about the island and amenities and attractions available to guests.

Great times at Flamingo Bay Resort

This resort provided a great opportunity to experience the Island of St Maarten in a most favorable fashion. . The beach area, the surrounding restaurants and location of the resort made it easy to shop travel and get around the island from its location. So much to experience from the comfort of its location.Aldo was able to tske advantage of the sister resort on the Royal Palms.

First and last time at the Flamingo

We visit St Maarten twice a year and had never stayed at the Flamingo. Unfortunately, we will never stay there again. The renovated rooms are beautiful, but every interaction we had with the front desk staff was disappointing. They were unhelpful and rude at check in and check out. Be aware that they do not clean the rooms until the 8th day. You can request more towels etc, but nobody will be coming in to clean. On top of that they inform you at check in that you will pay a $500 fine if the room is "excessively dirty" I get that most of the people who stay there are timeshares, but I wasn't. At my timeshare at a different resort they clean the room and bring fresh towels without being asked every 3rd day. With all of the beautiful resorts and friendly people on the island we can certainly find somewhere else to stay.
