What a little gem!!! In a beautiful village.
Fantastic food...you do have a little wait, as it's cooked mostly to order, and lovely welcome. Waitress good at her job, and not OTT sickly sweet.
Food AMAZING!! give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Kaz

We have used this pub frequently whilst having our kitchen re-fitted. We have also taken friends and family thereon several occasions. We have never had a bad meal, and the cost is always very reasonable with a good choice. Along with their occasional 40% off, 30% off or 20% off deals, this is a really great place for a good meal. Care needs to be taken when you visit because it gets very busy and you can be left waiting for about 40mins for your meal. We had another meal tonight. I had the 5oz Rump Steak and it was so very well cooked that I had to get a message to the chef.

Lovely village pub, okay welcome, fantastic food and wine. Was about to give this place the best rating ever until I checked the bill. £9 for a glass of wine????? Sorry, that's just plain greedy. I can buy 2 bottles of similar quality from Tesco for the same price. Rip off and won't be returning.

This was a fab find very quaint old fashioned country pub. I had the homemade fish fingers, chips and mushy peas which were gorgeous. The honey cider was to die for the best I have tasted.

We ate there last week with two friends who live in the area. The restaurant is located in the middle of the High Street in Steeple Ashton which is a charming West Country village.

The restaurant part of the pub is relatively small but is right next to the bar where many locals congregate of an evening.

We ordered Sesame, Chickpea & Sweet Potato Fritters with a Coriander &
Mint Soy Yogurt & Salad, Garlic Ciabatta for starters and Smokey Black Bean Burrito with Avocado, Rice & Sweetcorn. Served with Sweet Potato Fries, Salad & Mint & Lime Sour Cream, Sausages with Dauphinoise Potato, Red Onion Gravy & Vegetables. For desert we had Affogato, Flapjack Crumble of the Day (Apple).

Every course was delicious and the service friendly and fun. They cater very well for vegans and vegetarains like myself

We had a great evening. You need to book at dinner time
