We booked this to visit Albarracin, voted the prettiest village in Spain. It was also a convenient stopping point between our winter break in Almeria and the Bilbao ferry port. Bronchales is a very typical Spanish village. No sign of tourists, just a couple of bars, a supermarket, a bakery and the Hotel Suiza.
We were greeted by the chef who saw us arrive on their parking area, and directed to the front door. Our room was in the Annexe, about 200 yards away. The gentleman on reception said the rooms there were newer and better than in the hotel.
Breakfast was the usual Spanish buffet, quite OK. Dinner was a good choice of menu. 2 of our party chose the fillet steaks with pepper sauce and both declared them tasty. One chose the veal steak, and this was the tastiest piece of grilled meat any of us can remember. Absolutely delicious and tender.
The whole place was very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.More
