My sister and I flew into Mornington Peninsula for the weekend and after reading good reviews decided to have dinner at Veraison. We were early and very hungry, and Cherie was very thoughtful bringing us bread very quickly and putting orders through.

It was one of the most incredible food moments we've both ever had. we had the duck, the gnocci and the pork belly. there are no words to describe how amazing this food was. the flavours are not too overpowering, but very very very tasty. We ordered dessert even though we were both full - just because dinner was so incredible. We had the Parfait & the trifle. The Trifle was amazing! but dinner was by far the reason we would fly back to Melbourne!!

The food here is so good, we were up at 730 and waiting outside by 8 for Veraison to open for breakfast. We had the homemade crumpets and scones - the scones were lovely, and the crumpet was once again incredible! the sauce on top was like nothing we've ever had before.

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Went there for dinner was going well when we realised young female waitress was learning so we gave her some leeway, then owner came over as young girl was taking our order and told her off in front of us for forgetting an order on another table ! Couldnt relax after that food was great maybe have at least one experienced waiter on staff, will go back and give it another go as we loved the food!!

This is a serious restaurant. The menu and wine list is not expansive but well balanced. The food is outstanding. The service personal and attentive.

My Birthday celebration dinner was a perfect night for us at Veraison.
Our greeting was warm and excited with Richmond's win in the AFL Grand Final that afternoon. We started with entree's of Seared Tuna and a Scallop Soup dish, both were great with the Tuna being the stand out.
Mains of Scotch Fillet and Duck breast followed with wines matched to each dish, our host did a wonderful job selecting appropriate wines and both meals were top class.
We enjoyed a beautiful night out at a brilliant family run fine dining restaurant, which is a credit to the chef and wait staff.

A choice through good reviews on trip advisor led us to try this restaurant. The host was amazing and she recommended a nice French Rosé and had a very warm and welcoming style . Ordered the barramundi and duck breast and both were of the high standard expected at fine dining. Enjoyed parfait for desert. I saw a table of 4 share this dish , so at $16 is great value for 1 person . Love the candy floss “wig” over the top . Best dessert I’ve had in years . Partner had the delicious trifle . Only thing that distracted us was a very loud American who barged up to the chef to make a smart comment about the food not being out quick enough for him . It’s fine dining chill out . We were seated right next to the kitchen and the two chefs were working so efficiently and professionally it was mesmerizing to watch at times . All the tables around us raved about the food and desserts . Recommend this place to everyone.
