It was a very very wet day and so we did not go to the beach or walk around the wonderful gardens. The house is still a great attraction and holds some wonderful artefacts of a bygone days. The staff ( volunteers ) go out of their wY to help and explain to various rooms and their contents.
On a wet day this was a remarkable view.

Visited on my birthday in October 2017. Really loved the house - it felt so intimate and as though the family had only recently left. It really made me aware of the family living happily together here. There was so much to see and it really felt like stepping back in time. The cafe was lovely too. Need to come back and explore further - the grounds & beach etc.

A fantastic day out at Osborne House, suitable for all the family. The tour of the house is so very interesting, and it felt like such a happy place - a real family home. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and the surrounding park land and beach are perfect for strolling around at leisure. A great place to bring children for a day out, but equally good for young and old alike.

What an amazing place. The house itself is a national treasure and English Heritage have done themselves proud. Together with the grounds, the storyboards, displays and knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff this is a place to visit more than once and in different seasons. We will go again, and again!

An interesting day out to see Osborne House (home of Queen Victoria). A walk around the house at a leisurely pace means you can spend as much time as you want looking at all the artifacts. Then a walk to the beach - this is a long walk especially going back to the house as it is over 1km mainly up hill. There is a courtesy coach if you don’t think you can make it. Plenty of options for food which is good quality. Nice day out.
