“Dont Judge a book by its cover, the food is crazy awesome!”
Reviewed 3 April 2011

My husband and I and another couple couldn’t get enough of this place. The kitchen is clean and the women making the food are so nice and friendly. Everything is fresh, and they BBQ the chicken right there! As the smoke from the BBQ hits you in the face! Lol They don’t speak English and the menu is in Spanish, but easy enough to guess. But everything we ordered was so good! Grab some food to go and take it to the beach!

“OUR FAVORITE!”
Reviewed 6 February 2011

This place was the best! Their BBQ chickens come with beans and rice and tortillas. Get an order of guacamole and you are set! We just kept going back, it was addictive!

“I want a Piccolina's in New York!”
Reviewed 2 January 2011

Outstanding chicken. Went back multiple times. Great service! Owner makes you feel at home. Some if the dishes were chipped and the patio roof is a tarp, but the food is to die for! Most fun and welcoming restaurant in the area and VERY cheap

“Sweet little Piccollinas!”
Reviewed 30 December 2010

We ate at this little local authentic place a few times last week. You might walk right past and not realize that it has THE very best chicken around. It's right across the street from Cantina Habanero. They have a variety of Mexican specialties on the menu but we just kept going back for the barbecued chicken. It was sooooo good. Done to perfection with a secret marinade. It's cooked over wood and served with tortillas, beans and rice and probably anything else you requested. We also ate sopes and other traditional local dishes. The service is wonderful, friendly, and fast. We also had the best orange juice - freshly squeezed. Very economical and fresh. Did I mention economical???One of the best restaurants in PM. Wish there was one in my own town.

“Friendly Piccolina's”
Reviewed 27 February 2010

We had been walking through a side-street and came across Piccolina's by accident. The mama was just putting out a sign board offering a whole barbequed chicken, served with salad for 2, frijoles, arroz, and a 2 liter bottle of soda for $65 pesos. The ladies could barely speak English but were so accomodating; we enjoyed the food, the service, and the value. When you see this place, it may look like a hole in the wall with only 3 or 4 tables, but the food makes the stop worthwhile. Our visit: Feb, 2010
