Sure, one can dine at Sierra Mar/Post Ranch ($125/pp excluding wine) or at Sur House/Ventana ($90/pp excluding wine) or a few other restaurants around the Hwy 1, but none will have better food served by gracious wait staff. Our firsts of sautéed chanterelles and smoked salmon toast, and mains of half roast chicken (sublime) and scallops were fantastic. Likely for a fraction of a cost of the big two above.
