For 10 years I have stayed at this property every October with the exception of the Covid years. By far my favorite hotel in Monaco in the off season for th annual Sportel trade show. Great service. Fantastic bar called the Blue Gin bar. Will always be back.

I have never been more disappointed in my life with a hotel. I wanted to treat my mother and sister to a special vacation. This is the most I’ve ever spent and by no means am I rich. I saved for this. The staff was very rude. I was at the pool and signing every bill to my room for convenience for the second day when one attendant told me that my name doesn’t exist and that I’m lying to them and that i don’t stay here. My mother said to her she must be mistaken and her and her associate laughed at my mom. You can’t understand how this made me feel. They made me get up and go to a computer when they eventually realized they were wrong. They did not apologize. I had to go to the lobby and explain what happened and they said sorry we will make it up to you. All they did was send a fruit basket. For the money I spent this is beyond unacceptable. It felt racist to be honest. I would never recommend anyone to come here. They dont have enough chairs by the pool for everyone and they make you compete over them. Never stay here.

Thank you very much for your stay and for having taken the time to fill our Guest Survey Satisfaction.
First of all, we would like to apologize if your experience did not meet your expectations.
We have well noticed the several points you have mentioned and your comments has been reviewed with our Managers. It seems that unfortunately a computer bug made this issue this is why your name was not found by the bar attendant. We are truly sorry to hear that you perceived some discrimination. We place great importance on respect and diversity to give a service without distinction of origin belief or culture. We found no evidence indicating any appropriate or discriminatory behavior. Nevertheless your are completely right they should have apologize for the mistake. Be assured that our Food & Beverage Manager have been informed about this issue and that some correctives actions have been taken. For any misunderstanding or issue with one of our staff feel free to ask to talk with a Duty Manager even at check out.

Despite this experience and the poor impression we gave you from our hotel, we hope to have a chance to welcome you again to the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel to make you experience our utmost.

Our recent stay at this hotel left us quite disappointed. While the view from the room was truly fabulous, it became clear that a great view doesn’t make up for the lack of basic services.

The breakfast was poor, tasteless, and to make matters worse, there are very few alternative dining options nearby. It's frustrating to waste time searching for another place to eat, especially in a city like Monaco.

The amenities in the room were also lacking. We had very little water provided and, after calling to request more, no one ever showed up—even after a long wait. I had to call three times to receive water, in a timeframe of three hours. Second day, the same.

The pool area was a letdown as well. There were dirty spots, and the water was so cold that we couldn't even enjoy it.

On arrival, there was no assistance offered with our luggage. In fact, it seemed like there were hardly any staff around to help, at the arrival space.

While the room was cleaned thoroughly, it's hard to overlook these other issues. Unfortunately, we were unable to switch to a better hotel, such as the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo or Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, due to a lack of availability. We would have done it if there was possibility.

For anyone expecting an above-average experience in Monaco, I would strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.

We are sorry to read, that your stay was not up to your satisfaction.

Concerning the water, we offer to all Guests a big bottle of Evian at their arrival: than, depending on the room category and on the duration of their stay,we renew this amenity: please, accept our apologies concerning the time you waited for the water, we assure you that necessary actions will be undertaken to avoid this to happen again.

The water of the sandy bottom lagoon (open from May to September) is not heated, for this reason its temperature depends on the weather, but the indoor /outdoor swimming pool (which is always open) has a water temperature of 29 °C.

We understand your position, especially if you compare the quality of service of our establishment, which is a 4 star hotel, to the one of a 5 star hotel like the Hotel de Paris or the Hermitage Hotel: even if we do our best to improve every day, we will never be like a 5 star Hotel.

Nevertheless, we hope you will give us the honor of welcoming you again and remain with our best regards.

A fantastic resort with great staff and a magnificent lagoon pool to enjoy and if the weather is unsettled then there is a beautiful indoor pool .
Breakfast is excellent with some really nice staff that will look after you .
The Bar is also really good so it’s a good place to finish the night off .

I just love this place. It’s so pretty and relaxing. We go most years and will continue to do so. Stunning rooms and views. If I had to criticise I would want china cups in the bedroom for tea and coffee not paper cups that’s just not cool! Sometimes pool service is hit and miss but generally very professional staff and happy people everywhere.

We visited last year as part of our honeymoon and enjoyed so much that we had to return this year for our anniversary.
The hotel, facilities and staff are simply incredible. We have absolutely no complaints here, everything is immaculate.
Our one disappointment this year was that the lagoon was not open (it was when we visited last year - a couple of days earlier than this trip). We had been looking forward to spending an afternoon there, and the other pool area, whilst still stunning, was very busy and simply did not offer the expected experience.
Whilst we will check the opening times prior to booking another stay, I was disturbed to see from the website that there now seems to be an entrance fee per person, even for hotel guests, which is rather off putting.
