There are small cats stay in the Hotel, very friendly accompany. The view is very beautiful. Quiet and Relax. We had good time in Dewachen, wish can come back again.

En route from Punakha to Bhumtang we stopped in Gangtey. No black necked cranes in August but still worth a visit.

This was a nice hotel. Good location higher with a nice view of the valley and the marsh land. Nice and spacious room, gigantic bed that could have housed four...
Wooden stove in the room that I would have loved to try but it would have been a waste given the agreeable weather so I did not ask.

Super friendly staff in the hotel and the restaurant.

Good food for breakfast and dinner. This was one of the few places where I ran into more other travellers; there are not that many alternatives in this area. Nice atmosphere.

Because our room was at the end of the corridor, we had large windows with great views on three sides. The room was well-appointed, and the lighting options were pleasant, but it would have helped to have at least one bright lamp for reading. While each room still contains a wood stove, with wood conveniently chopped and piled outside the door, each room now also has an electric heater, which was adequate to heat our room on chilly nights in June. The shower was large and the water-pressure and temperature were good. There is no exhaust fan, but there is a small window in the shower stall that can be opened. The wardrobe was also very nice. The spa was reasonably priced, but we didn't use it.

Dewachen resort n Spa And Phobjika was the best place to be Bhutan. One must visit Phobjika Valley or else Ur Trip to Bhutan is incomplete and if in Phobjika Valley then Dewachen resort is the place to stay
First thing First I must mention tht in all Hotels in Bhutan they are very particular about timings of Dinner no Hotel in Bhutan serves dinner post 9 pm but due to some unfortunate accident we were late and we explained the management in hotel that we will reach post 11 pm and if they can arrange dinner . They understood your grievance and served dinner post 11
NOW THE ROOMS
Awesome rooms with view of entire valley U feel like not to leave the room and the view gr8 hot water available 24x 7 Good breakfast and courteous staff . Also they have Spa which we couldn't use due to time constraints as we had to check out
I wills say all visiting Bhutan pls visit Phobjika and Dewachen with minimum 2 night stay
