A nice isolated bodega with a good swimming pool, spacious rooms and a reasonable breakfast. We enjoyed staying here, particularly the first night with only northern European guest. The second night brought us a group of smoking and loud talking Spanish guest, who remained outside their rooms till early in the morning. We loved the swimming pool, breakfast waw simple, the evening meal was also simple, but the wine (only the best red) was good. There was only one person (a young, very hard working girl) to do ). So with a full house, service was somtimes a bit slow.

Room Tip: all are similar

A very warm welcome by both owner and staff. Nothing other than praise for everything we experienced. Evening meal was delightful with a friendly member of staff in attendance at all times.
Drinks were served out in the courtyard whilst dinner was prepared Local wines served which were excellent

This is a struggle to find but rather a delight in the middle of vineyards and olive groves. The wines are well made and you'll want to take some home, try the curiously named 'VNadir' red which has 11 months in oak. Otherwise, if you are not there for an event like a wedding, this is one to go to to enjoy the quiet, the countryside, the walks among the olives and vines and the horse riding and other entertainments on offer.

The spacious, high cielinged, tiled floored rooms are in the original stables, right next to the Bodega and have just been done up. There is a small restaurant on site but no full time chef so be sure to tell them in advance that you will be eating. There is a swimming pool.

The location is at (38.496389° -6.264995°) but the roadside entrance is at (38.476568 -6.264219), a bit to the south of the Hotel. You'll need the location reference to find it on the BAV6132 that goes to Hinojosa Del Valle from the A66 Autopista. Once we'd found the gateway on the roadside, which was difficult, the long dirt road driveway led to a warm welcome from the proprietor. He showed us the gardens (including the moral trees - mulberry trees).

Room Tip: The best rooms are near the entrance.
