When my husband and I decided to drop in to the Mill we had no idea what to expect. We walked into a lovely and well organized shop with beautiful yarn and textiles and were swiftly whisked away for an impromptu tour of the operation where we learned about their mills and the process of creating beautiful yarns out of many kinds of fiber. It was a wonderful experience that we will not quickly forget. Thanks Hazel and family!

I love this place they are so friendly and helpful. They are great with kids. And you can't beat the prices for their luxury fibers so great I went twice in 5 days

A recent trip brought us here on the recommendation of our innkeeper. If you are a knitter or crocheter this is nirvana. We were greeted by a flock of exotic chickens, two donkeys and some very plump sheep and finally by a charming young lady who treated us to a tour of the sight and explained in fascinating detail the processes going from sheep to wool. The gift shop was a delight of wool and wool products and we did a lot of gift shopping. If you are travelling with children this is a must see destination as the menageree was as entertaing as the mill itself, A favourite aspect was the sign on the washroom door cautioning to keep it closed a the chickens may wander in. In all an excellent site to visit for quality of goods and an entertaing learning experience

We were told that this place would be a fun day. I suppose if you love textiles it might be. Basically it is a small mill and gift shop. It is in the middle of no where, and frankly not worth the drive. You could go to any wool shop and get the same thing. The gift shop is VERY expensive.
