If you love to ski this place is for you. There are 12 ski resorts in the area. Be advised if you ski to one of the mountains on the French side make sure you leave yourself enough time to ski home. There are a few options for restaurants and a small market. So eating a good meal on the slopes and a light dinner is a option. We were there to ski and meals were secondary. Cooking in the unit is also an option. A car rental is not needed. You can take a train and then a taxi to the resort.

Visited for lunch on a friends birthday. The chicken nuggets and chips were a joke, cooked from frozen, and very expensive. Ordered water for the table with other drinks and food. The waitress only realised she haven't brought it over when I went up to pay.

I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money eating here. Unfortunately, even when trying to pay for the overpriced terrible food, the woman taking the payment managed to calculate our bill incorrectly, attempting to grossly overcharge us.

Just don't bother visiting here, ski somewhere else to eat. You'll be disappointed with the service and the food.

It was a beautiful blue sky day, and the snow was deeper than Bryan Adams lyrics. Me and my 4 friends stopped for a bite to eat in the Crosets bowl. High on life and buzzing with adrenaline after sending it ‘recorded delivery’ down the Swiss wall. We sat down on the plastic chairs on the terrace of the the Port du soleil hotel/restaurant. The sun lit up the menu but after a quick skim we could tell already that we me have made a mistake.
The waitress took our order and we waited with baited breath.

Many times people are told to read between the lines but PDS hotel provides exactly what it says on the tin. Ham and chips was a bowl of fries with sliced carrefour ham carefully rolled on top. Other unfortunate plates included 6 chicken nuggets and chips for 17 CHF, served with a frown. The fried eggs were as clear as the tears rolling down my face as the food arrived.

If the ordeal of eating sub par food wasn’t enough, when we came to pay the sneaky women tried to swing us out of 15 yozzers on the exchange rate. Crap food, frosty hearted employees and no atmosphere means the PDS hotel leaves a lasting pang of dissatisfaction long after the diarrhoea has cleared up.

And it was my birthday...

If you can’t speak french better search an other hotel (the staff wasn’t able to speak an other language). The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet nice and good.
Directly on the ski road! Food was good.

Food was expensive and the chicken nuggets were cooked from frozen. The waitress barely opened her mouth to us and looked like she'd been slapped in the face when we asked for literally anything. Couldn't have felt less welcome. We were given the wrong bill and then were made to wait half an hour to sort out the incorrect payments. Experience of a lifetime. Go anywhere but here.
