Four of us stayed for two nights in three rooms in this perfect old Rectory, set in its own large garden with a pound and chickens and sheep in the nearby field.
The three rooms were immaculately and comfortably furnished with a shower for each.
The breakfast was eaten on the ground floor in a beautifully ?right and airy room, with an amazing variety of healthy breakfast options. The house was cared for by the owner, who was calm, friendly efficiency personified. The village was delightful, small and peaceful and about seven kilometers from Ypres.
We would have no hesitation in staying there again, and hope to make another visit next year.
An element of fitness required, as rooms are up two flights of stairs - but we had come loaded down with luggage, with which the owner kindly helped us down!More
