Yes a little gem in a higgledy piggledy village clinging to a hill. Full of character and despite being on the main road, only one car an hour passes. 100 yards from the authentic Takis Tavern for great local grub. 2 miles from Vlassides winery, and only 30 minutes from high Troodos. A real and historic place to stop.

Room tip: Only 3 rooms, all full of character.

Vouni village was more surprising than expected. Great location half way from the beaches and half way to the mountains, best of both worlds on Cyprus. A definite come again place. Traditional stone cottage set in a very traditional village and great locals.

Room tip: Helena room is the best

Room was a bit "tired," but this was a nice apartment lodging in an excellent part of town. Not fancy, and bring your own toiletries, but breakfast is included from a tavern a couple blocks away, and the entire town is in easy walking distance (albeit quite hilly).

I'd stay here again if I were in the area.

spent last weekend at vouni lodge with friends. the place was great and the village is beautiful. Tony and Helen were very friendly and generous. If you would like a feel for village life, delicious traditional food and plenty of home made wine, bio vegetables and a doggy friendly accommodation this is the place to go! will definitely go back for more!

We chose to stay at Vouni Lodge after it was recommended by a friend with dogs and young children.
We booked the Helena at a moments notice and was lucky enough to find it had a cancellation. We travelled up with our three sons, daughter-in-law and two dogs to celebrate my birthday.
Tony & Helen were fabulous hosts and supplied us with wine & fruit from their vineyard and garden.
The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed, we found three tavernas in the village and had evening meals which we highly recommend.
We will be returning to Vouni Lodge again and would strongly recommend a stay.
