We ordered 3 different dosa. The filling could have been more but the flavours were bland. Very little substance in the watery Sambar. 2 of the dosas were partly burnt.

Venue and service was good.

Ordered an onion rava dosa. It came as a crispy dosa with raw onions scattered on top indications they do NOT know what a real onion dosa looks like. The chutneys lacked real coconut flavour and had no choice. Really wonder who the cooks are!

We have never visited the Dosa hut in Sydney. A friend mentioned to try the Indian Chinese. Indian Chinese is a very different Chinese it's spicy, it's a mix of salty and sweet. We started with a paper dosa and an egg dosa. Paper dosa is a really thin and crispy dosa. The Dosa's were really great, the accompanying sambhar was a bit watery while the coconut chutney was salty.

We also had the chilli paneer this was the Indian Chinese. It was perfect a bit spicy but really good. We also tried the vegetable biryani, which was quite flavoursome. Some really nice food and good Dosa's.

A dosa is not an Indian dish of the sort I am used to.... like, say, a bowl of curry. It is more like a crepe.... so, a large thin pancake with a filling then rolled up into a cylinder. Fillings have the tastes of Indian cooking that are familiar. Dosa is a dish common in southern India, but I had never had one.
The Dosa Hut has an extensive menu -- many varieties of dosa, but lots of other Indian dishes too.
The staff was great -- friendly and attentive. Very ready to advise someone like myself who is not familiar with this style of cooking.
Portions are large, and served promptly.

The newly opened Dosa Hut in the Canberra CBD has an excellent menuwuth a selection of great dosas. I had the crispy paper dosa and was very happy with the quality of the dosa and the accompaniments. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I took my wief to lunch the next day and enjoyed a great meal at a very reasonable price. Best dosa I have had outside South India.
