Paid $60 for 2 adults, one child and a toddler (under 4's are free).

It was entertaining and the boys loved it. Kept us busy for up to 3 hours. We did go outside school holidays which was great - would expect it would be a nightmare during peak school holiday period.

The earthquake room was the highlight.

Reasonably priced cafe with limited variety. But adequate for kids.

Overall, one of the things to do with kids!

This is our second visit. The last was a year and a half ago. Enough has changed to make it interesting and much of what we loved is still there. The hands on nature of the activity is really appealing to my kids who range from 4-11. There is also a special area for the little ones. The cafe serves a range of food and can cater for gluten free. Don’t forget to check if you have reciprocal rights with membership from you local museum or science place.

Visited on Easter Sunday and the museum was very busy. The layout and galleries will keep kids busy and they have a special area for the little ones to get even more hands on. I would recommend at least 3hrs for a family visit.

Great place for kids. Plenty of hands on activities to keep them entertained. You could probably easily spend a full day here if your kids are 6-10.
Probably wouldn't recommend for kids 13+ though, it's more designed for the younger ages.

Every time we go to Canberra, we take our kids to Questacon. There is something for all ages to enjoy; and they never get bored going back again and again.
