Steve was our tour guide. He is very informative, knowledgeable and naturally funny. He made our Blue Mountains tour delightful for the whole 9 hours traveling, visiting the sights and back.

“Private Blue Mountains Tour”
Reviewed 6 January 2012

We had a great day visiting the blue mountains, our guide Nigel was great and tailored the tour for us (as we have teenage kids, they did not want to visit the antique shops). We visited a farm where we saw Koalas, kangaroo and a sole crocodile, then went to the mountains and had a nice 90 minute hike down to the falls.

Lunch was a buffet, though Nigel says he can also recommend better places if asked.

After Lunch we had a further look around and then went back via Echo point, before our return to the hotel.

We were four people, but the cost of the tour was only 50% more than the normal and we did what we wanted.

“Activity tours rocks”
Reviewed 4 November 2011

We toured with Activity tours and Nigel as our guided on October 19, 2011. We did the Blue Mountains Wildlife Day Tour with River Cruise. It was a wonderful day. It started in the Blue Mountains which was nice. We had a nice lunch at a Chinese restaurant in a small town near the Blue Mountains, we were free to choose among the many restaurants in the downtown area. The two highlights of our tour were the Flat Rock of the Blue Mountains. Flat Rock was once the bottom of the ocean, so the land is a little rugged it was amazing, the land and the views. The final half of our tours was the Featherdale Wildlife Park which was the cherry topping. The only thing I disliked was that we did not have more time there. Seeing the animals roaming free where we were able to pet and take pictures was beyond great. We were able to take pictures with a Koala. The first Koala we were going to take pictures with decided he was ready to take a break, so he got down off the branch and left, which was really funny. He was tired so he left. They soon found a replacement and we were able to take a picture next to him. We saw so many animals during our short time. Only wished we had more time visiting Featherdale.
Can’t say just how great Nigel was. He shared so much information with us on the region, answered all our questions, gave us time to explore on our own and took really good care of us. For those that were not as mobile as others he made sure that they saw as much as those that were more mobile. At the end of our day he didn’t just drop us at the dock for our cruise tour, he waited until we were safely aboard and waved good bye to us. Activity Tours rocked, it was one of the best tours of our Australian vacation.

“Hunter Valley Nigel and Happy Feet”
Reviewed 3 October 2011

My boyfriend and I went to the Hunter Valley on Saturday 01-10-11, this was my boyfriend's first time there and from the moment we got on the bus and met Nigel we knew that we were in for a ride, from the other people on the bus to the wineries the 60's music and sing along on the bus and the drive everything was just magical, we had an array of nationalities on our tour from Auzzies, Americans, English, New Zealand,Chinese and South African everyone got on like a house on fire and it was just an amazing experience that will never be forgotten. Thank you NIGEL and to the crew at Activity Tours we will be telling all our friends and family about you we hope to be using you in the near future.
