Recently revealing its Brooklyn-inspired renovation, this cool and contemporary cafe offers a succinct menu of fresh and tasty offerings from braised-pork sliders to salmon gravlax with fennel salad. I have been coming to the Fine Food Store for over 2 years now and very much enjoy it. I think they make the best Almond Milk Chai Latte in Sydney!

The only thing I don't like are the pigeons that sometimes roam about inside the restaurant. I find that very unhygienic. Hence, why I mostly get my chai to go.

Service on a Sunday mid morning was terribly slow. Coffee was mediocre. The pulled brisket was dry and definitely not tender. The salmon was tasteless, lacking overall appeal.

So I'd done my research of breakfast cafes close to the hotel and that opened early (ie 7am). Definitely worth the walk over ... whilst the staff were functional, and not overly helpful or interactive - the FOOD and coffee definitely speak for themselves.

We dined on eggs and toast, bircher muesli, waffles and bagels with avocado - the food was photo worthy, and tasted awesome.

I would absolutely be back again, and recommend to others.

Easy to get to, with seating inside and out - it's a little dark, but has a GREAT menu and the cabinet food looked amazing as well.

Big thumbs up.

Lunch after doing the Bridge Climb - really good quality food.

Much of it organic etc if you are into that kind of thing, but importantly very freshly prepared on site, with a good range of drinks (including nice beers).

Even a couple of visiting ibis birds snatching crumbs from tables close by :)
