This is the place to stay in Sydney. In the heart of all the activity and fabulous views of the harbor. I will certainly return, as the apartments are large and sitting out on the balcony watching the world go by is a great pleasure. A new addition to the Quay are the bike driven fish are wonderful to watch from above. Their bright colors and lights after dark certainly add to the whole scene.

It is often said that you get what you pay for but that is not always the case. We recently stayed at the Quay Grand Suites in Sydney as we were attending a wedding at a venue close by. From the very beginning we felt valued even when I was just making an enquiry about the distance between the hotel and the venue. The booking service was most efficient and a confirmation email arrived straight after I made the call with helpful information as to the location. My request for an accessible suite was confirmed via email. We were met at the kerbside, our luggage relayed to our room and the car parked quickly and efficiently. The check in process was complete within seconds and I was greeted by name.
The suite was beautiful, fresh, clean and luxurious. Each time we came across a staff member be it concierge, room service, house keeping or reception we received a genuine greeting.
So as I said you expect to get what you pay for and in this case it was expensive but well worth every cent. My only complaint .... that we had to leave.

Room Tip: Harbour side rooms offer lovely views but if you are attending a wedding consider a park side room a...

Staying in the Quay Grand over March for a holiday with my family. Found all the staff very friendly and the rooms were well appointed. However found for the price we paid this was not really good value for money. Location is great as it's close to all the best tourist attractions but I felt I could of got better value for Money staying at maybe one of the 5 star Hotels like Westin or Shangri-la. I didn't really get a good nights sleep either found room was noisy sounded like paper thin walls I could hear people moving next door all night also the Air conditioner was abit noisy too so i turned it off during the night.Overall nice staff but Hotel has some small issues with noise and over priced.

Room Tip: i guess rooms on the ends would be quieter.

Dear Mason B,

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at Quay Grand Sydney. I am disappointed to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.

At Quay Grand, we strive to provide a superior stay for every guest and your feedback is vital to us in meeting this goal. Please know that all of our guest room windows are double glazed to assist with ensuring minimal noise exposure from the bustling Circular Quay. Rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the A/C noise with our bi-annual servicing of the unit and we hope this will prevent future occurrence.

Most guests truely enjoy our location apartment size and the additional faciilites not found in a Hotel room, please accept my apologies that yours was not as satifsfactory.

I would certainly like to speak with you further regarding your experience and ask that you please contact me via 9256 4001 or belinda_paterson@accorpacific.net.

I look forward to speaking with you.

We spent just 3 nights here, but enjoyed having our harbour view so much that I can't wait to go back!!!! While the location is excellent and the rooms are nice, it's the view that did it for us. We weren't bothered by the noise from circular quay at all, but ear plugs could be handy. The apartments are very spacious, but do look a little tired in some spots. I couldn't stand the big pillows, but that's a personal thing. Having an option to choose from would be nice. Just a heads up to anyone doing laundry in their apartment....make sure you select "fast wash" for your cycle or you'll sit there for almost 2 hours waiting for the regular wash to finish. For a property that seems to be so energy and water conscious (they ask you to keep your shower to 4 minutes), you'd think that there would be better guidelines for doing laundry. The fast wash still takes 45 minutes, but it definitely cleans. The dryer was hot and very quick. Can't wait to go back!!!

My husband, 4-year old son and I recently stayed for two nights in a one bedroom harbor view suite. Very spacious, clean and was definitely worth paying the extra for the harbor view. Great layout and huge bathroom with spa made our stay extremely comfortable. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, but there arebso many great places to eat nearby we only used it to make tea and coffee.

The pool area is one of the cleanest we've encountered and the pool was nicely heated for swimming.

Only a few slight negatives that are worthy of comment (and by no means should this put you off staying here!). The blanket we had in the room to put on my sons fold out bed was really dirty and really needed a clean (moldy and covered in hair). Also, there was no tea or coffee on the kitchen, but a call to reception soon had this rectified. There was also a nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen and it is a shame that the coffee pods were not complimentary. Parking is also very expensive and when staying here it is important to be aware of this.

Room Tip: Harbor view rooms are definitely worth the extra.
