Arrived at 2.30pm on a Saturday to a full house at Chat Thai. However we were seated after a short wait. Ordered Pat Thai, red curry duck and khao kha mu pork leg rice and tab thim krop. Only the pork leg rice dish really wow-ed us. The dessert tab thim krop was quite nice. The service is pleasant, and the food comes pretty quickly once we’ve ordered. There are a variety of Thai sweet cakes sold at the front of the store. We bought the green layered sticky cake but it looked better than it tasted, has a rancid oil taste.

We went for early dinner, around 5pm to avoid the crowd. The food was okay, a bit on the sweeter side but Cmon it's Thai Food and it's supposed to be spicy! The desserts unfortunately are not to our liking, we had the water chestnut and mango sticky rice. The seafood is fresh and the coconut water is pretty good.

Great quality and service in a busy CBD shopping mall. What a surprise!
The food was fresh and tasty. The soft shell crab is worth trying, very nice.

Being from NYC, it's rare to find consistently authentic Thai food -- one that doesn't cater to American tastes (too sweet, not spicy enough, etc). Outside of visiting Thailand, we were happy to discover authentic Thai exists, of all places, in the food courts of Sydney!

Savory, spicy, bit of sweet, all the umami tempting flavors evoke wonderful memories of Thailand. Everything is satisfyingly delicious. They even have my favorite desserts and drinks!

We loved it so much that we visited the Chat Thai located in The Galleries Victoria and the one in Westfield. If we had more time, we would've visited all!

We went during off hours, so it was never crowded for us. The decor captures the back alley shops in Bangkok.

Great value for delicious, colorful food. Service is quick, staff efficient.

Definitely a must-go!
