As an exchange student, I'm quickly finding that food (and everything else for that matter) in Sydney is expensive. Very expensive. Thankfully, there are still places to buy cheap meals that are edible. (Not to mention the Australian dollar's continued decline against the US dollar has helped in this regard). North Indian Flavour is one of those places. I ate there today on a visit to Bondi Junction and had butter chicen, chicken tikka masala, and a medium heat lamb dish over rice for $11. I also added a large piece of naan for $2.50. The chicken tikka masala and lamb dish were very flavorable (the chicken tikka is on the spicy side, but not too spicy). Next time I'll skip the butter chicken as it was a little too sweet and not very authentic. All in all, a very good meal at a decent price. I'll try some other dishes on my next visit to the mall.
