We had no expectations of this venue but were surprised none the less. Lovely food, excellent service, reasonable prices. All in all, highly recommended

Nine of us held a group reunion here and it was the right place to chat and catch up without too much restaurant noise. Due to group size, we took one of the banquet menu choices and while we weren't disappointed, it wasn't outstanding either. Best dish is definitely the peking duck (pancakes) - as expected, moist meat, sauce and fresh pancakes. The other dish to recommend is the king prawn dish - almost jumbo size in batter and made a nice contrast to the other stir fry dishes. To accompany, their French rose blush wine is definitely the pick and we consumed several bottles as we chatted into the night.

8 of us had a birthday dinner on a Saturday night. Great suggestions from our server saw us eating a selection of dumplings, duck and vegetarian dishes all served fresh and delicious with great aplomb. Eager to return

A group of guys booked for dinner. The meal was pre-ordered and an adequate number of dishes were selected. It started poorly when a regular plate of some fish pieces arrived and that meant people received 1 or 2 pieces each - come on, 1 small plate for 12 people. Next a plate arrived with 8 serves again for 12 people - its not going to work. Of the 6 or 7 dishes, these were the worse for portion control. The food standard was disappointing - either a dish was over cooked or oily due to deep frying. Finally a couple were bland. The staff were friendly but couldn't react to the situation of portion control or flavour. The evening filled a hole but the experience was well short of a place that has some good reports.
