This lookout not only provides a great vantage point for Alice Springs but also to reflect on past and present wars.

Easily accessible to all with no walking if you prefer but the opportunity to walk around is also there.

Anzac Memorial Hill, here we had a panoramic view of the whole city. The landscape is breathtakingly outback. Another highlight of our Alice Springs stop. FOC

Perfect location and a fitting tribute to the memory of those who served, those who still serve, and those who did not return, well supported by information panels around the perimeter describing Australia's past military history.
Provides excellent views of Alice Springs and plaques showing the history of the town through the ages.
You can access via Lion's Walk stairway which starts next to the Youth Centre on Wills Terrace, but not for those who have mobility problems or on a hot day, and there is a road that makes it much easier for all.

Walked out here on an incredibly hot day and did not think the view was worth it. If your accommodation is far and you choose to walk make sure you are up early so it’s cooler out.

Went there as the sun was setting and we had a very nice view. It’s quite popular with the locals. Parking available

The history, past and present, is on presentation plaques. You have a great view of Alice Springs just keep in mind it is a place to remember the fallen.

Anzac Hill provides a great overview position over Alice Springs. The drive to the top has a display of military conflicts in which Australian military forces have been involved.

Thus was a climb that nearly hit me too hard!! What a view though and of course something of a panoramic ! Probably wiser to do this first thing!

Anzac Hill provides a good view of the city of Alice Springs and is well worth the visit. Best to drive up as it is a steep climb. In addition it provides a memorial and reminder of the wars in which Australians have engaged.
