Quick, easy and friendly check in process, appreciated that only a $1 credit card holding fee was taken since accommodation was already paid in full.
Had a room on the 21st floor, very quiet and a decent size, there was plenty of space for my son to run around and not get under out feet.
Good location (once you know which way to go), only a 15 min walk to Central station, 25-30 min to South Bank and 10 mins to Fortitude Valley. You can also go down an extra floor for easy access to walk along the river.

Had a shortened business week in Brisbane, and had a three night stay.

The staff were friendly, check-in and check-out was smooth.

Staff were very friendly, courteous, and nothing seems to be any problem at all for them.

Valet Parking at $55/night seems a bit expensive though, perhaps I am a bit naive.

I would return and stay.

Dear Guest,
We are of course terribly sorry that you have had this disappointing experience. Our aim is to provide all of our guests with a caring and positive experience. Unfortunately, there seems to have been some miscommunication regarding your check-in time which was also compounded when the guest occupying our Presidential Suite departed later than expected. We do hope that we may welcome you on a future visit for an experience more in keeping with the high standards of service we strive to deliver.

Another 1 nt stay in Brisbane and this hotel is a solid choice. Staff that are very friendly. Rooms classic in design but spotless and well maintained. Executive lounge although dated provided a varied selection of food and drinks on an evening. Breakfast in Motion is excellent especially the cooked to order omelettes. This is my go to hotel when Brisbane beckons.

Room Tip: River views offer a great view but city view is good also

This hotel is a little bit out of the main CBD area but is still one of the best choices in Brisbane. It's a nice and quite short walk along the river to cafes, ferries and the central city. Or, taxis are usually on hand. Convenience store 100 metres away. I've stayed here several times and I like the consistency - a warm welcome, a good room, meals from room service that are good quality and well priced, staff that are willingly responsive to every request. Parking and breakfast are both expensive, but there's usually a package rate that includes either or both. Room rates are very competitive and for me this hotel provides a better all round experience than say the Hilton or the Stamford Plaza. The rooms feel spacious and are well-equipped, the beds very comfortable. Bathrooms are very good too, I do like a shower separate from the bathtub. Housekeeping is of a high standard. Aircon works well against the Brisbane humidity. It's not deluxe in the sense of a Ritz Carlton or a Four Seasons, but it doesn't pretend to be. That level is not available anywhere in Brisbane as yet, so the Marriott is a solid choice. One area where they could do better is the executive lounge breakfast - hot food was pretty average I thought, and the tables were annoyingly small for two people to have a meal. Otherwise, thumbs up.

Room Tip: river view is a good choice and not overpriced
