We stayed here for a stopover in Brisbane before an early flight the next day.
I am glad we were driving or we'd have been searching for the place all night. Not what you'd call central.
The room was very small & basic (although spotlessly clean)... call me a snob but i expected more for the price we paid.
That said, the owners were extremely friendly & helpful, providing you with whatever you needed.
I guess my main problem was the price we paid. It didn't cost us much more to stay in the city centre in a 5* hotel.
If you get a cheap deal & just have an overnight stay.. then you'll be fine.

Once again Tripadvisor provided just what I wanted.
This property is perfect if you need to visit the Brisbane Hospital. It is a short walk to the hospital and my room was clean and reasonably priced. Also it is walking distance to the train station which has a service to the airport. There is a nice mall with food court and supermarket etc at the station. My room was very small but was satisfactory for a short stay. Any longer and a larger room would be better.

Stayed here while one of us was in Royal Brisbane Hosp. Only 10-min walk away. Jim and Lorraine (and Trevor and Candice) were the best of hosts. Great room service breakfasts available and dinners as well. Free WiFi was very helpful also. Felt like family and hated to leave! Easy walk to "the Valley" for Chinatown and food.

This is an excellent hotel and value for money.
Just 5 mins walk to fortitude valley and 15 minutes to the central town .
The hotel is in a quite place with birds chirping and yet very much near the City.
Its a clean hotel with a swimming pool.

I would surely come back to this place again.

I stayed here for two nights in January and paid $100 US per night. It’s at least a 20 minute walk from the central business district so for those who want a more central location it might not be suitable. It’s only a ten minute walk to Brunswick Street station, however. Fairly basic Motel style accommodation, but comfortable and clean. The welcome from the husband and wife team who run the place was very warm. The pool is tiny. More reasonably priced than some of the other mid range options in the area and as such I was satisfied that this represented reasonable value for money.

A family member was admitted to hospital in an emergency situation. Jim and Lorraine (the owners) went out of their way to ensure that during the period we stayed at Spring Hill Terraces we were very well looked after, knowing the stressful situation we found ourselves in.

They also very kindly looked after other family members including dropping them off at the hospital.

Nothing was too much trouble, and their kindness and consideration to us and members of our family during what was a sad and stressful time for us was much appreciated.

We stayed in an apartment with a doublebed, 2 single beds and 1 bathroom. There was a small kitchen.
We booked this place based on price, as it was one of the more affordable in the area. It provided everything we needed, but nothing really extra. There were ants in the bathroom.
Internet was free, which was nice.
Location requires a lot of walking (or a car) to get to most tourist spots. It was winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool.
