We went for a birthday dinner with friends recently. The waitress did not write down our orders and consequently our entrees were forgotten. After calling this to the attention of one of the other waiters, we were provided with our main meals after 1.5 hours of waiting. The sides of our mains were all mixed up. But the food was good and we were offered free desserts, which we accepted.

We had my birthday dinner here and it was a very lovely experience. The waiters were very accommodating and very friendly and the food was lovely. Huge servings for each meal. Large variety for all tastes! Loved it and will be returning

As an English ale drinker on holiday this was the best pub I have found so far for a good beer selection. Great variety.
A very large venue popular with groups so not good if you want a quiet drink. Nice atmosphere though so good to soak up the feel of the city. Food was average pub fair.

I had the pleasure of dining here with a group of friends last Friday night. Despite the bar being absolutely rammed the restaurant was pleasantly quiet and the service was spot on, as the night got busier we never once felt ignored or rushed. The food and drinks were wonderful and varied. Everyone had a great night and next time we are in Brisbane we will definitely be returning to The Charming Squire.

Meet a few old mates at the pub for a few drinks. I had no idea where it was exactly but close to the train station. No problems, it was just outside the station. Was a good crowd for a Thursday evening and the beers were good. Didn’t have any food.
