This is probably the fourth time that I’ve stayed at this hotel. I was quite happy to book in with a friend from overseas who’s visiting Australia. BUT things have changed. Most disappointing is the restaurant. Our food last night was just horrible. In the past the hotel has had a small, well cooked a la carts menu. It seemed a convenient place to eat after a day on the reef. But the food was dry, and had been left for ages before it reached the table. The service was nonexistent and a free dessert offer didn’t quite compensate.
Also we have no internet in our room, it seems other guests are in the same position A helpful young employee has tried unsuccessfully to sort it, but this morning the guy on reception had no idea there’s such a big problem. This surely is a fact that should have been shared amongst staff.
Oh dear Pullman Cairns. What a shame. Our room, however is quite comfortable and clean.More
