During our stay stopped here a couple times for a drink but on out last night had a great dinner here. Able to snag a last minute booking at 8pm. The food was amazing. We had scallops for a starter. Peppered lamb, calamari, and seafood linguine for the main. Paired with a nice Malbec. For dessert had a gluten free chocolate cake and dark chocolate tart.
Excellent service also. Great place to dine at for the last night meal.

We had a beautiful meal and atmosphere at Zinc. The service was excellent and the food was mouth watering, our meals were served efficiently and by friendly staff who added to our most enjoyable experience. We had a very mixed food range and all were served together and the food was delicious and the presentation was very impressive.

This is a very large restaurant and full credit to kitchen, churns out food on a very quick basis.
There's not much atmosphere, and we made the mistake of ordering paella only because it was a change from the usual fare. Not great, not Spanish and not finished. Rest of the meal was equally forgettable.
Plenty of other good option on PD ie Watergate, On the Inlet etc

Inner friends here this evening and left feeling extremely annoyed. We were a group of five but the table was set for four. That's ok - just add another placing except they got that wrong. The place was empty but couldn't move us to a bigger table so no room to put plates drinks etc. The waiter who we spoke to regarding the extra placement was extremely rude. It was almost as if it was too much hassle. Anyway, into our meal. The young girl got it wrong twice as we gave it to her and then when the order came out one of the child's meals was missing. I suspect it never went on the order. Finally, waitress started clearing the table before everyone had finished!! My pet hate!! Despite the restaurant not being busy I felt as if we were being rushed out the door. Sorry, but service was shocking and the young gentleman attending to us left us with a bad feeling. In Port Douglas for a week but will not be returning here. Seriously not impressed.
