If you ever want to see the most amazing dawn awakening, then this is the spot. There is nothing else in the world like it.

What a beach, sand as far as the eye can see and white horse rollers crashing in. You must visit this iconic beach if visiting the GC and you will see why it got its name.

every time I step on the Surfers Beach I am amazed as how pristine the water is and the length of the beach. Surfers gliding in the water along the way, it runs from The Spit all the way down to Coolangatta. you can walk on it all the way to Miami do a walk around the hill and then continue on the beach. you can take a dip in the sea, just make sure it is between the flags with Lifesavers watching you. then you can continue your walk in the beautiful white sand. lots of lovely things to see along the way and have breakfast in many restaurants and coffee shops along the strip. I can never get enough of it. enjoy

Long beach front, clean, lifeguard in place, swim between the flags, always busy, good for family, couples, friends, nice strolls along the beach during early morning or early evening.

This is the iconic beach of Queensland, and somewhere that is clean and very safe. The surf isn't too dangerous (most of the time) and if you swim between the red and yellow flags you will normally be fine. The area around the beach is wonderful and relaxing, and there are night markets three nights a week
