Luigi's is a small restaurant with amazingly friendly and helpful staff.
We went for breakfast - the sharing platter. This features various samples of their Italian-inspired dishes.
Food presentation: could not be better - absolutely appetizing.
Taste: some good (eg, French toast-style 'Florence', grilled tomato), but mostly on the disappointing side (eg, oven-roasted mushrooms).
Value for money: beware that the "sharing platter" price is per person - so $32 suddenly becomes $64 - and coffee etc is extra. Thus a (nice) breakfast suddenly sets you back AU$76+ ...
While Luigi's scores high on some points (friendly service, food presentation), in my mind it scores low on others (value for money, food taste, loud environment next to a busy road): in summary the experience is just below average only.
