We travelled from Paradise in the north west of Tassie and found a little peice of paradise in the south. Immaculately clean, well presented and appointed as well as reasonably priced. Great gardens.

A very warm welcome from Pam & Tom who went to no end of trouble to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We spent 6 nights in the apartment during which time we took in all that Hobart and the surrounding areas had to offer. It was great to receive advice & directions from our hosts who are born & bread Tasmanians. The apartment is compact but nothing has been overlooked, every detail had been followed to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, it was a pleasure to stay in accommodation that had been maintained & prepared to the standard that Tom & Pam present their apartment

We stayed at the Gardens Apartment for 4 nights in early autumn. The apartment is very well fitted -out. The owners have thought of everything! It is clean and most comfortable. The garden is a treat in itself - especially in autumn! Pam & Tom are gracious hosts too; we feel like we have made new friends!

This is a very small but beautifully designed and equipped apartment in a great location about 10-12 minutes drive from the Hobart CBD. There is a bus stop almost at the door, so if you don't have a car, you can still get around easily. The owners created the apartment thinking about what they would like. They are well-travelled, so they were working off a good base and you will find quality European appliances - with instructions for use - for cooking and laundry. The apartment is quite independent of the owners' house, but you are invited to enjoy their garden, which I certainly did. Dining is at the bench on the high leather chair/stools. Two quality armchairs face the TV and there is a CD player and radio. The bathroom and separate toilet are also located downstairs, while upstairs in the bedroom with windows on three of the four sides and a ceiling fan high in the cathedral ceiling. This was certainly appreciated during my stay, as Hobart was experiencing warm weather and, even with all windows open upstairs and down, the apartment was very warm, even overnight. However, in cooler conditions, you would be very snug. The bedroom is otherwise comfortable with quality bedding. Hanging space is limited, but adequate for travellers, and there is limited space for luggage.

A smiling host, fresh flowers in the apartment and basic provisions greeted me on arrival and I was made to feel extremely welcome. I certainly hope to stay here again.

The apartment is clean comfortable and contains everything you are likely to require for an enjoyable stay. It is only a short drive to the centre of Hobart, or the Sandy Bay shopping centre.

Great location and only about 10 mins from the heart of Hobart, this apartment is lovely and great for couples looking to have a base from which to explore the surrounding area. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay and your hosts, Tom and Pam are very welcoming and only too happy to make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommended and would stay here again without any hesitation.
