Staying in this property was an absolute delight - home from home. The location was a perfect base for our short stay and within walking distance to of the pier, restaurants and local surrounds.
Not giving too much away it is a Victorian built property maintaining a lot of original features and those that love original decor - the sash windows had their original fittings! and work a treat....
The property is very much loved by its owner who brings out its beautiful features by enhancing originality with modern decor splashed throughout the rooms. With 3 and a half bedrooms our group of 4 each had our own slumber heaven....the bedrooms were so comfortable making it hard to get out of bed each morning.
Prior to arrival communication with the owner was easy as and effortless, emails and txt msgs were answered immediately. On arrival and after getting over the stunning view from the from the front gate entry into the property was seamless. We were greeted by a welcome message, a tin of shortbread biscuits and a fridge full of more than the basics from our host which took away the ‘stress’ of finding a place to purchase the mandatory pint of milk.
All in all this stunning property is so relaxing and welcoming, your senses are massaged with low key aromats from natural scents dotted around the house and teased by the sound of ‘quiet’ forcing its guests to just chill. The luxurious bedding at the end of the day and the taste of fresh goodies left on the guest kitchen table for brekkie was just perfect for a group of friends out for a short break to enjoy a collective friendship.
Highly recommended you will not be disappointed even if you tried to be......

Gill is a wiz ! She has thought of everything that you could possibly think of and has presented a warm, inviting and excellent home to stay in. The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. Her personal touches such as freshly made cake and short bread biscuits are beautiful. Thank you Gill for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your accommodation.

We cannot recommend this property and owner highly enough. It is the best place we have ever stayed. The owner has gone over and above in terms of comfort, cleanliness, quality of furnishings and bedding etc. She has also stocked the kitchen and bathrooms with excellent items and has thought of the guests every need. She is approachable and easy to contact. Wished we had been able to stay longer. This property is located very centrally within Hobart city and a very easy walk to good quality restaurants, bars and shops and about 15 minutes walk to the Docks. Gill has thought of everything to make your stay welcoming. The house is simply charming, and is equipped with everything we, my husband and friends , could need. We had a wonderful three day stay. The refrigerator was stocked with the basic necessities and the house was spotless.
