A great way to get your bearings and discover some places that you might want to spend more time at.
Freddy is a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. There’s nothing boring on this tour, even the bikes have quirky names and the lunch venue was excellent.
There is some riding through high traffic areas (cars and/or pedestrians) but I always felt safe. Thanks Freddy!

We loved our tour! The bikes are easy to ride, i.e. simple to operate gears & brakes and the seats are extra large & comfortable. We rode all over the CBD stopping for lunch in a quirky cafe in Fitzroy. From a safety perspective it can be a little daunting riding along the streets & paths amongst 100’s of pedestrians, cars, trams & so forth. It’s Melbourne so you need to employ a little common sense, follow the road rules & if you’re feeling left behind for overwhelmed let your guide know so they can put you at the front or slow down. Our guide was brilliant, funny, inclusive, knowledgeable and safe. We would recommend this tour for anyone that can ride a bike.

We had a group of ten and Freddy seemingly easily kept us all travelling safely and at a nice pace. Enjoyed the food stop in Fitzroy at a quirky little cafe. They accommodated my gf request by whipping a wrap into a salad. Awesome! Nice way to get an overview of the area if new to the city.

Six friends booked a bike tour of Melbourne. I read the reviews before booking, anticipating a leisure tour of Melbourne. Nowhere in the company tour explanation did it indicate we were biking 19 km in downtown Melbourne. I would never have signed up our group. We also asked what experience level was required before booking and were told it was appropriate for everyone. In total there were 10 people on our tour on a busy Friday afternoon. It was challenging biking in the city as for the most part pedestrians and bikes share sidewalk unless there are biking lanes on the road. We had people of various biking experience and the leader focused more on the experience riders than the ones lagging behind due to inexperience and/or traffic.

At our lunch location the leader went into restaurant while 2 members of our group had not yet arrived. They got caught behind a vehicle and missed the turn. Almost 10 minutes passed before he come out of restaurant to look for them.

Unless you are a very experienced rider who can maneuver between pedestrians, vehicles, large intersections and hills I would look for another tour of Melbourne.

Thank Kemanche
