I may only come here once a year, but I remember it for the next 12 months. The host Gabriel is always patient with Mr Know-it-all who comes with me, and prepares an excellent variety of things that even impress the pickiest among our company. Today I had the stuffed capsicum and the grilled Barramundi with scallops. Ms Picky had the vegetable tart, while the others tried the Seafood Bisque, the barramundi, and the Pate. We brought the best from our own cellars and had a languid lunch. It is usually very quiet at lunch and we had a long chat with Gabriel. In the evenings he is stuck in the kitchen himself.
