Nothing much has changed. This was our 4th visit to Mont Clare and if anything it has improved.

The rooms have had a new coat of paint and the staff are super friendly. Spacious bedrooms (2) and a fully equipped kitchen is perfect for a self catering holiday. The 1.5 bathrooms has a separate extra toilet.

The location is just a 10/15 minute to the centre of Perth or during the day a 3 minute free bus ride on the CAT.

Great value at $199 per night and a very comfortable stay. We always feel very relaxed here, the staff leave you alone and you come and go as you please.

The only negative I can report is the car parking - you get free parking here but there are a lot of reserved parking spots for the residents ( theres about 50% owner occupiers versus holiday makers) , so it's first in that gets the others. And if you stay here like us during a cricket match at the WACA - some people have friends using the car spaces to the detriment of the paying guests. That said we always found a park but that was luck in timing more than anything.

This is a 3.5 star resort and some areas need refinement but the price, location and the space you have makes them insignificant.

This is the sort of apartment you would own - sometimes needs some work but is comfortable enough for it to be left for another time.

Highly recommend if you're not too fussy. If you are look elsewhere.

Room Tip: Lift doesn't go to the 6th floor so request 5th floor or lower - Pool side is quieter than the Hay St side.

We were blown away by the quality of the place, especially given the price...my only criticism was the pool. In the photos, it looks very luxurious and inviting, however, it is run down and desperately need some shade and greenery.

Stayed for 3 nights and would give it a 9.5/10 , had a problem with shower head and the young fella behind counter didnt hesitate to drop what he was doing and fix it immediately , stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was nice and clean , spacious and self contained . Booking in was smooth , shop short walk west .

Only gripe was aircon struggling when we first arrived , until i cleaned filters , apart from that , well done.

The apartments are nice and the location is fantastic. The free internet is slow.
The parking is terrible with most bays reserved. It took two trips to the reception and eventually they showed me a reserved bay that I could use.

Starting at the front desk the reception was slow and seemed confused. 25 mins is to long to wait after a long flight from Singapore. Finally when we got to our apartment we found the lighting did not work. we informed the front desk they sent up the maintenance "man" I say "man " because he looked like he 12 and was just about as mature. There was a woman waiting in the hall way for him and he spent more time talking to her than doing his job. My wife and I stayed at the Mont this time last year and I am very sad that it gone so down hill. I will never being staying here again.
