I went here for lunch, and dinner. We had yum char for lunch, and half a peking duck. I highly recommended the peking duck. For yum char: squid ink prawns, truffle prawns dumplings, and anything from their steamed classic dimsum. I didn't like anything from their pan fried dimsum menu. For dinner, we highly recommend their dimsum platter, and if you like seafood, the crayfish as well. For drink, stay away from the bubble tea baiju cocktail. Attentive service, alright prices. Best Peking duck in auckland, we came back twice in two days.

Tasteful decor, the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night. Service did not suffer, food was mostly excellent. We had dim sum for entrees which I found beautiful, but didn't live up to expectations in taste. You must get the Peking duck. Wood fired the traditional way, the meat was succulent and the skin light and crispy. We also got the mah po tofu hot pot and a very tender pepper steak. Desserts were nicely presented, my mango pudding was a light finish to a generous meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal, I would go back. A solid 4.5 stars

Walking in latish on Friday the staff made us feel immediately welcome. Short wait in the spacious bar for our table. The restaurant was still busy but it is well designed so it did not feel crowded. Helpful and knowledgeable service lead to a great mixture of dishes. Nicole also assisted with some special orders and wine selections which were greatly appreciated.

The dumplings are exquisite, our choice from the XO dumplings to the barbecue chicken bao buns are items to return for. We go for lunch there whenever we’re in Auckland central. It can be pricey, but worth it!. Try the Royal 75 cocktail. A must.
