This local fish and chip shop is run by engaging and fun couple , with assistance by their grandchildren . My daughter and I popped in for a late evening take out .
There is a range of fish on offer ( not all sustainable varieties unfortunately ) and on this occasion my daughter who lives in Asia just wanted good old Kiwi fav Snapper .
We had a lively and fun conversation with the owners and with other people waiting for their orders . This is not unusual , it's a small small place with lots of locals popping in , so area to sit and enjoy , it's purely take away .
Our fish ,chips and potato fritters were nicely done and generous portions of each served in cardboard trays with complimentary lemon wedges and unsalted ! Not too much batter on the fish either .
Always consistent in their service I have used them for large groups of 30 people and they have accommodated by making smaller 3 / 2 bite portion sizes of fish , ready on time and always with a smile and some cheeky fun . Delightful .
Pick some up and then pop into Cornwall park just 5 minutes down the road to enjoy
