We have just come from our daughter-in-law's 30th Birthday party at the above venue.
The location was perfect: fire and heaters were going on the patio when we arrived, the food was excellent and the staff were so attentive.
Everyone appeared to truly enjoying themselves.
Would certainly recommend this venue.
We have also had lunch here on several Sundays and we're looked after the same as we were tonight.

What a disappointment!!!! Mean portions for our main courses and no imagination. The vegetables looked like
a very young child had cut them up not an experienced chef like you would expect.Chowder looked and tasted like it had come out of a tin, again no garnishes. The bread beside the soup was the crust, not expecting that! Corkage $20 a bit excessive compared to other local restaurants !Complained to Front of house guy but he didn’t seem too concerned so definitely won’t be revisiting!

Firstly please take this as constructive criticism! Our charming young Brazilian was efficient& friendly and we enjoyed our brief chats. But the girl who opened our bubbles&poured the glasses ,,was an embarrassment she was dressed scruffy& bluntly looked like she had just come in off the street,.. no standard there Im afraid.
Our friends& us had always enjoyed the shrimp cocktails& loved the shells on a stand that used to be served in..plenty of large prawns etc,,,dissappointment when they arrived now in small glasses...not as many shrimps ..the shells were a seller for sure! The guys steaks were good,,however we liked the way broccoli, beans&carrots used to be served in separate little dish,,,,,now just bfew carrots on the side. Us girls had scallops which were great&good size but the salad was rather bitter& tomatoes rather sparce.
We probaly will be back& we always bring new guests each time so would appreciate look at these constructive comments as I ssure they will serve you well.
Regards Lorna

Great spot with excellent selection of food & wine.
Obviously a very busy Saturday lunch time in the summer - service was great - friendly and efficient.
Excellent knowledge of wines as expected which made for a good discussion and a bit of tasting.
Nice quiet & cool area to eat, and sheltered from the sun.
Thanks for your hospitality

Although they were short-staffed, the young man who was working was very friendly and made sure all the customers were looked after. This place is very quaint with beautiful gardens, bridges and a pergola. We had lunch here and the food was good. Really enjoyed my burger!
