“Great relaxing spot”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

great little spot to relax, the top pools are very hot but the ones down off the main river bank were most pleasant.

“A nice way to warm up on a cold day!”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

A fun experience for a cold day. Expect lots of Pumus in your suit! Nice people, a bit of a walk from your car if your older, but a good path. Coming back is all up hill. I had bad knees so this was a little tough for me. Otherwise a nice experience and I'm glad we went.

“Spa Thermal Park.”
Reviewed 11 January 2012

This is fun to do if you like active activities. Walk a fair distance to a natural hot spring that flows into the Waikato river. You have to climb over a river edge and rocks. so one has to be without injuries or disabilities that limit movement. and there is only dirt to sit on. nothing is provided. But it is free.
