For a a 31/2 Star hotel I found this hotel much better than expected. I had booked a kingbed sized room and it was extremely large. In fact, it could have taken a couple of single beds as well.(I cannot comment on smaller rooms.) Unlike some hotels in this rating, it provided an ironing board and iron in the room. There was a good sized wardrobe,a full length mirror and a long bench space. There were no drawers. The bathroom was generously supplied with shampoo and soap every day. We were able to book a car park under the hotel, (spaces are limited). The location is great being only a minutes walk from the best shopping street in Wellington and two minutes walk to the Cable Car, which takes you up to a great view of the city and to the Botanical Gardens.
Nice, clean rooms - big enough for two, large good bed - very good buffet breakfast. Very central. Our parking was not reserved - had to park at the Intercont - which was much cheaper as there is a flat fee for weekends.
We stayed at the Ibis Wellington in January this year. The hotel was very nice. It has the perfect location in
Wellington, right in the CBD, walking distance to all sites downtown. The room was spacious, well kept and clean. Would recommend this hotel to all types of groups.
Good value hotel in excellent CBD location. Rooms clean and tidy, very friendly staff and a very handy location.
Can't think of things to say up to 200 characters, that is ridiculous because I will only be repeating myself.
