I don't know which apartments are featured here or on the facility's website, but they're nothing like the tacky, dirty, poorly maintained third-world rooms we encountered at the Southern Cross. The manager is kind and tried moving us twice to stem my intense allergies to the filth, but each apartment was worse than the last. Simple things to clean, like linoleum tile and soap containers and pans, were filthy. Gross! I'm guessing that the kitchen stove fan (which we change yearly in our own home) had not been changed in over a decade. Easy stuff to clean was neglected, like black mold around the bathroom drain. The fridge was broken in one apartment, the fan in another, etc etc, with no adjustment on the bill. The manager tried and was friendly, but what can she do if upper management does not care about even minimal maintenance on the property?
They advertise free internet, but it's only free for a certain number of bytes.
It's a no-smoking building by law, but anybody can and will smoke on their balconies. In my town, this is the kind of place that rents by the hour. And be warned: You're required to prepay to reserve, and if you leave due to the false advertising, there's no refund!More
