My burrito (mix of chicken and beef) was one of the best I've had in a while. High quality ingredients and relatively big portion for the affordable price. Quick service during a busy time of night and staff was nice/helpful as well.

I'd been to the sister eatery in Queenstown so thought I'd give this a crack on our 2nd night at Little High. Arepas were delicious and burritos pretty solid. Good vibe, great drinks and funky decor set them apart from most here. Worth a trip!

Sat at the brightly decorated bar for cocktails, all of which were delicious, well made and presented. Lovely staff too.

Best quesadilla I've had in a long time. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Definitely recommend.

After eating at Caribe in Queenstown we knew we had to try Caribe in Christchurch. It was a little hard to find - it is inside the Little High Eatery (a whole lot of different eating options with shared seating). When entering from the St Asaph Street side it wasn't clear that the doors marked "Little High Eatery" were the entrance for Caribe but yes, they were. It can be hard to find a seat at peak dining hours so there's a fair bit of table sharing involved but the food at Caribe didn't disappoint! I'm a big fan of the arepa - reina pepeada (chicken and avocado). There is a choice of grilled or fried. I always chose grilled but they must've fried it one night by mistake and it did feel a whole lot greasier so I'd recommend grilled.
