Although sadly another factory production line has been sent over seas we still had a great tour. We started in the cafe as we were a bit early not set up to well for busy times as it was pushing room basically to line up and order even the girls making it had a small work space thankfully it will all be moved to. Apart from that our drinks were so nice along with the toasted sandwich we had yum yum so many flavours to choose from. We went in and received our tour ticket and were told to go through the museum part which was like a small Cadbury town of all there old wrappers and history. Georgia was our tour guide she was fun and spoke very well and with passion for Cadbury and very informative. We saw a lot received chocolate bars along the way tasted choc and they demonstrated how the chocolate was tempered. There is a lovely surprise towards the end of the tour I hope is kepted for future tours as it was amazing to see. Really loved the tour highly recommend it no cameras along the way which is fare. totally worth it I thought. As part of our chocolate bag they gave us some of the last jaffas ever produced there so they will be not eaten and saved for the memory. Look forward to seeing the new factory tour just sad it comes with such a great great loss. Even though its only going to Australia were I live and work it still a loss for my home country. Thankfully not sent further away. Wear good footwear as it is a walking tour with steps. Everything is put into a secure camered locked box all u have is ur chocolate bag to receive ur choc along the way. Hope you enjoy the tour like we did. We have done the one in Birmingham UK this is a smaller version but still informative and fun. We went at Easter Sunday what better way to spend Enjoy

Free entry, touching World War I stories. With history from furniture, clothing, kitchenware. Love the informative and interactive session for kids.

We were amazed by the amount of excellent exhibits packed in to this tiny museum; everything from local and national history to some wonderful exhibits on the environment and Antartic expeditions. I would highly recommend visiting as you are guaranteed to find something to interest everyone in your party.

What an absolutely incredible museum! There is something for everyone here, from small to old, male to female and anyone I’ve missed out. This place was so much more than we expected! Some inspiring displays to create curiosity in young minds! Christchurch you should be truely proud!
