I came here looking to buy some high quality kiwi wine. I found it here. I bought two cases to send back to the USA. They have a great selection. I recommend you stop here if you love wine.

Thank Winter M

My wife and I stopped off here on our way from Christchurch to Picton on the main state highway number one. We were very pleased that we did

We parked the car and went into the beautiful building and were shown to the wine tasting room iwhere a very helpful young lady explained the wines and allowed us to try a couple of them without charge. The quality of the wine was excellent and we were able to find out that there is an outlet in the UK through whom we can order their wines.

It is well worth taking a little time out to walk around the fantastic grounds of this vineyard. There is a beautifully kept Rosegarden and a number of sloping grassy areas leading to some beautiful ponds. Children beware but there are helpful signs throughout.

The lunch restaurant looks tremendous with a very strong menu but it was, unfortunately, just a little too early for us to have our lunch on this occasion. In summary a lovely place to make a short stop on the long road between Christchurch and Picton.

Thank Chris A

We've eaten at Pegasus Bay's excellent restaurant several times when visiting Christchurch, and are yet to be disappointed. Service and food are great, and wine is special, in a lovely setting.

We went over for a wine tasting Sunday afternoon.Very disappointed in our experience. You won't get much wine highlights to go with the tasting. The tasting was rushed. The lady obviously didn't have much time for explaining wine highlights to guests but did manage to find time to take a glass herself - we all found her behavior not very professional. There are many nice wineries here in New Zealand. Could try the Wanaka region, Wairarapa region etc.

Tasting plates of interesting, well presented and delectable delicacies, venison chorizo, or smoked trout, salt and pepper squid and beef all great. Outlook was stunning, over vines the lake and lots of birdlife. Outstanding wines, too!
