This is a standard motel - pretty much what you would expect for the money.
Room was clean, mini ktichen was functional (fridge, microwave).
Easy check-in, good wifi (no surcharge or data limits)
Located on the outskirts of Christchurch city centre, the area surrounding the motel has lots of vacant lots & construction sites as rebuilding from the 2011 earthquake continues. Still, it is possible to walk to the centre (eg Cathedral Square) in only 15-20 minutes.
There is a major bottle shop/liquor storee and a pub right next door, so it can be noisy at night.

Room tip: Stairs required to access all rooms.

We had 2 nights at the C Motel and found it to be very clean and comfortable with all the amenities within the room that we needed. The bed was comfortable and even though the motel is next to a bar carpark, it was quiet. Our room was on the second floor but that wasn't an issue. The manager, Jeremy, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were within an easy walk around the CBD.

Good rooms but sadly the motel is right next door to a rough pub so it gets very noisy in the evenings until about 11pm. It is just walkable into the city if you're fit but was a bit too far for me. There is a bus from nearby though. Good coffee shop a few doors down ( daytime only). Pleasant reception staff. The room was very clean but the beds did not get made. Good free wifi.

We stayed here for two nights. The room looked very modern and new. The motel is located very central. When we left, we gave the reception the advise to get come bed lights, as there were only the ceiling lights but this would be my only point of comment.
They were thinking about doing this. We will be back, so we can see if they will do something with our advise. The price was good, especially for what you get.
